This fabulous Art Deco era necklace is made with the most beautiful CARVED CELLULOID beads.  They are overdyed in a rich chocolate color and carved down to a gorgeous ivory color.  The beads are intricately carved and the design of this necklace is so complex and unusual.  This is one of the nicest necklaces of this type that we have ever seen!  Necklace measures almost 15 3/4" long.  To give you an idea of bead size, the set of three carved beads in the center measures about 1 1/8" long and the two sets of three carved beads at the sides measure about 1 5/8" long.  Very good antique condition. Fabulous Deco PURPLE CARVED CELLULOID Necklace
What a fabulous and unusual Art Deco era necklace this is!  It is made of celluloid beads that were overdyed a gorgeous purple color.  We have never seen a Deco celluloid necklace in purple before!  It also has celluloid beads in a beautiful antique ivory colored celluloid and deep silver colored metal disks.  Necklace measures about 16 3/4" long.  To give you an idea of bead size, the four PURPLE CARVED CELLULOID BEADS vary slightly in size and measure about 22 mm long.  Very good antique condition with very light age wear and at the back of the necklace, there is one of the purple beads that is shorter than the corresponding purple bead on the other side.  Since it is in the back, it is nothing that would be noticed when worn.
